The first season (2008) of the English National Rock-It-Ball League (ENRL) featured just one division and was won by Easi-RockIts HellCats with Hellfighters coming runners up.  HellCats won the league with a 100% record.

The growth of the sport has been such that in 2009 the ENRL was run over three regional divisions with the top 2 from each division going through to National Finals. The Yorkshire and Humber Division was won by HellCats (again with a 100% record) - unbeaten in two seasons.  Legends!

This season also saw the start of the Junior Pairs League.  the Yorkshire and Humber Division was won by Easi Pair the Black Hawks (Charlie Ford and Henry Wilson) who then came a very creditable second in the National Finals

The third season saw the growth of both the Regional Division and the number of regional divisions.  With most of the HellCats having gone to university the demographics of the club changed and it was decided to use the season as a rebuilding season and only put one team into the league with a view to building up over the following two seasons.  However the youngsters confounded all expectations gaining a very creditable second place in both the Yorkshire and Humber Division and the National Finals.  In the Junior Pairs it was an Easi 1-2 as Alex Cooper/Liam Leckenby/Chris Vernon Rees and Jamie Oliver took the title with 100% record and Black Hawks got the runners-up spot leaving a big gap between themselves and third.
