On Sunday July 27th 2008 Easi-RockIts HellCats made history by becoming the first English National Rock-It-Ball League Champions.  Not only that - they did it with 100% record.  The other Easi team, HellFighters, made it an Easi 1-2 as Tees Valley Spartans lost to HellCats and were not able to capitalise on their game in hand.  Following the final league sessions the teams and families adjourned back to Newton on Ouse for a post league party and awards ceremony where Chloe Mitchell, in the absence of team captain Adam Rawcliffe, received the trophy for the victorious HellCats.
